When the hunter started pulling in the line his own greed and vanity surfaced – when the Head of Skeleton Woman broke the waves the hunter’s greed vanished and he fled – but, now there was no escape – the truth had come alive again – the story has it that she had been cast into the sea by her father for some undisclosed ‘crime’ against the community – she survived in the depths and her spirit held firm – it was through the ignorance of man and his aggression that she was rejected – but nothing ever dies, it just changes shape – and it was through the ignorance of man and his vanity that she re-emerged – the tale goes on, but, for now, nothing further need be said……..
